SUMMARY:Akron Area Memorial Day Weekend Rally
DESCRIPTION:May 24 & 25 with a raindate of May 26\, 2025 at Derby Downs. \nOne double each day. \nWe will be doing Pre-registration Friday May 23 from 6:30 till 8 pm at the track.  You can turn in registration forms\, get your car number and pay to save on waiting in long lines on Saturday morning.  Saturday and Sunday you will just need to tell us you are there. \nWe will be pitting down in run out by where the rubber bowl use to be.  Awnings\, families\, and your derby cars all be down there.  You can drop your things off down there\, but please move your automobile and trailer as quickly as you can.  No automobiles or trailers will be allowed in that area because of space for other races once the rally starts. \nPre-registration is required. Text Vickie Beck at 330-388-8200 {texting is preferred) or e-mail at mom2jjs@aol.com.   Limited numbers.  32 Stock\, 32 Superstock\, and 32 Masters.  Not to go over 96 cars.  If you register and have to withdraw for any reason please let Vickie Beck know so we can let others in the rally.   Text Vickie Beck at 330-388-8200 or e-mail at mom2jjs@aol.com.  Sign in both mornings is from 7am till 8am. under the finish line bridge.  You can e-mail your registrations to mom2jjs@aol.com ahead of time\, if you would like to do so.  Fees will be collected that morning. \nWe are taking orders for T shirts.  This the 50th Memorial weekend rally.  Orders must be pre-ordered by April 26 & 27 rally.  See Melanie Long at 330-983-3087.  Also\, can be done on the Akron Facebook page. \nFees. will be $35 for each day.  $70 for both days. \nOn Sunday there will be a fun competition for the dads. They can wear a wacky derby outfit for the day to be judged. \nWe will be having concessions. \n
