SUMMARY:Akron Area Spring Rally
DESCRIPTION:April 26 & April 27\, 2025. \nAll-American track\, 789 Derby Downs\, Akron\, Ohio 44306 \n7am to 8am is registration each morning under the bridge.  Then go to the scales.  As soon as the heat sheets are done and cars are over the scales we will start the race. \nPlease pre-register by texting Vickie Beck at 330-388-8200 or e-mail to mom2jjs@aol.com.  We want to make sure we have fields.  Registration forms and payment can be made Saturday and Sunday morning\, Please check in each morning. \nWe are having 2 races each day.  A double and a single each day.  The double race will be ran first. \nYou can set up your awnings on the black top down by the office Friday night or Saturday & Sunday for your pit area. \nAlso\, this is the last weekend to order T- Shirts for the 50th Memorial Weekend Rally in Akron.  contact Melanie Long at 330-983-3087 or on Akron Facebook page to order them.  They need to be pre-ordered. \nWe will be having concessions..

SUMMARY:AKRON INDOOR RALLY December 21 & 22\, 2024
DESCRIPTION:Indoor rally at Summit County Fair Grounds in the Arena.  Rally is Dec. 21 & 22\, 2024  Friday you can turn your car into the arena and set your pit up anytime from 10am till 9pm. Remember the track will be ran down the middle of the building. Friday you can come in the back man door and open the Garage door there to bring in your derby car for set up. Friday evening we will be setting up the starting ramps starting around 5pm.  If you are able to help do this\, we will appreciate it.  Earn a discount in your racing fee if you can help Fri evening or Sunday after the rally to take them down.  WE REALLY NEED HELP AT THESE 2 TIMES. \nSummit County Fairgrounds\, Arena Complex\, 229 East Howe Road\, Tallmadge\, Ohio 44278.  This building is in the center of the Fairgrounds. \nThere will be 2 races each day:  A double and a single each day.  $100.00 for all 4 races or 3 or less races will be $35.00 each. \nRegistration will be from 7am till 8am each morning.   They do not open the doors before 7am Sat and Sunday morning.  Then go to the scales. \nThere will be a Toy Drive Donation for Christmas presents for Children in the Summit County Children Services.  Please if you can\, bring a new unwrapped present for a child.  This date is to late to do Toys for Tots\, so we decided to do the children that are in Children Services.. \nYou may bring your own food for your own consumption\, but there will be concessions open during the day ran by the Fair Grounds \nFor registration text or call Vickie Beck at 330-388-8200.  Prefer text. . \nSanta may even come and join us. \n  \n  \n
